The Bay to Bay Challenge has been a Scouts driven charity walk, since its inception in 2001and has been all about camaraderie and fellowship AND making a real change in someone's life.  

The 2007-2010 editions have been staged with corporate sponsorships and were known to the NMB Public and running fraternity as the Algoa Bus Bay to Bay, with Algoa Bus Company as our naming sponsor.

After a 3 year collaboration between corporate sponsors and running clubs, NMB Scouts have decided to no longer be part of this event and aim to go back to their original concept of the past 10 years: the Bay to Bay Challenge - a non competitive, but definitely challenging walking event. No prizemoney, no difference between the first and the last to arrive .... purely a personal test of YOUR level of perseverance in aid of charity.

A date for our next event hasn't been determined yet, but keep your eyes open.
